CISA Study Circle Classes are conducted by the Pune Chapter for both June and December Exam. These are conducted on Sunday Morning. These are normally of 3-4 hours duration each. Pune Chapter also conducts a 3 full day’s review course at the middle of the month of May/ November. It will include a full review of all the modules of CISA examination.

1. The basic intention of Study Circle Classes is to prepare a student for the CISA examination.
2. The intention of the CISA Study Circle Classes is to deliver lectures and presentations on the 5 domains forming part of the CISA examination contents.
3. The emphasis will be given on bringing out the conceptual clarity on the subject.
4. The lectures will be taken by CISA Qualified persons and experts from Industry.
5. The CISA Study Circle class encourages students to form groups and conduct group discussions.
6. Pune Chapter will also organize mock tests to familiarize the students regarding the kind of questions, which are normally asked in the examination.
7. There will be no specific practical training.

1. The Sunday lectures are conducted at ISACA Pune Chapter office.

2. On Sunday the timings are 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 pm. However, depending upon the content of the lecture and the discussions arising out of it, the timings may be extended as required or it may be conducted on Saturday evening if required.

1. The ISACA, USA each year publishes a CISA Review Manual which contains a detailed description of various topics covered in examination modules. This will have to be independently purchased by the student from ISACA , U.S.A. directly.
2. Copies of the presentation material will be supplied if permitted by the faculty at the time of various lectures organized by CISA Study Circle Classes.
3. The CISA co-coordinator normally encourages circulating soft copies of any interesting and thought provoking article, among the members of the Study Circle . This normally helps the students to keep up-to-date knowledge.

The usual success rate has been about 50% for the worldwide results and also for Pune test centre. However, the results among the participants of the CISA Study Centre / Review Course are generally higher than the overall average, going up to 70%.

The Study Circle is intended to help the students in increasing the probability of getting through the examination. There are lots of group discussions and knowledge dissemination. The students have found it extremely stimulating. It is not necessary that a person should attend these Study Circle Classes for appearing for CISA Examination; but looking at the cost of CISA
examination (Over US $ 400/-) , it is essential that all necessary steps are taken to clear the examination. We strongly recommend everybody who is planning to appear to the examination to attend the CISA Study Circle, even though it is purely voluntary on your part.
