The Pune Chapter of ISACA was formed in January 1999, and was formally registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, in May 1999. The chapter has recorded significant growth since then, and now has a base of over 500 Members.

Chapter Activities
The Pune Chapter has many activities as below :

• Monthly Lecture Meetings Seminars and Workshops on Information Systems Management, Audit and Control.
• Training Courses for the CISA/CISM® examinations.
• Information Dissemination by Newsletters and Web Site.
• Interaction with educational and other organisations for increasing awareness about Isaca objectives.

How to get involved in chapter activities?
ISACA – Pune chapter is a non-profit organization run by professionals on a voluntary basis. As per the bye-laws, convention and tradition, the board is reconstituted every year with the addition of new members – who volunteer to take up the various roles and contribute to the organization.
Every year towards the end of the existing board tenure an email is sent to all members of the chapter inviting them to become a board member. A set of nomination form and the details on the process, schedule and the roles of various members on the board is enclosed in the email. This is an opportunity for the members to get involved in chapter activities and be a part of the chapter board.
